Autumn Leaf Lantern

In Scotland, autumn is most definitely upon us! Kiddles so enjoy the preparation and decorating that goes into holidays and special occasions. We try and decorate the house for each season. It makes the changes of the seasons exciting, and connects me to nature.

This is the easiest lantern ever – and perfect for little ones who can manage glue. You need:

–       A clean glass jar

–       Autumn leaves in a variety of colours

–       Glue stick

Simply glue the leaves onto the jar in a collage, and once dry, pop in a tea light. So easy – and so effective. For the full tutorial and more wonderful ideas, see Shelterness.
